Another year, another Celebration in lockdown. We are getting quite used to celebrating birthdays, anniversaries, and special days by ourselves at home. Which means bringing out the big guns (pots) in the kitchen. Father of the house (apartment) is fond of mutton biriyani. He can NEVER have enough of it 😄 and he loves the traditional desserts he grew up with. So it was mutton biriyani, fried chicken, and semia payasam (vermicelli, sago pearls, nuts -plenty of it-cooked in milk). Needless to say he was one happy daddy.
