Trying out Vegan

Traditional Lamprais is all about meat, so when I was requested to make a vegan version, I almost said “no, it’s not possible!” But I experimented with a few ideas, wowed the recipient, and today pulled out a pack from the freezer for a taste test. It was so good… hard to believe there was no meat, eggs or even ghee used in its making. Lesson: don’t bash it until you’ve tried it!
